We pride ourselves on being an inclusive school with good academic results for all. Our SEND offer is bespoke and we have invested heavily in mental health interventions and support.
This year, we are continuing to work towards the Gold Emotionally Friendly Schools Award and continuing our partnership with UNICEF through our Rights Respecting School work. This means we are focusing on our children's emotional wellbeing and helping them to stay healthy both physically and mentally, and making sure all of our pupils know their own - and respect each others'- rights. We are supplementing this offer by hoping to become a School of Sanctuary through focusing on our work on diversity.
We are also pleased to announce that we are now a Platinum School Games accredited school and we will continue our high-profile sport and PE work in Salford and beyond.
In addition, we will be focusing on making sure our curriculum delivers good progress in all subjects, and that teaching and learning in every classroom is the best it can be by using research to inform how we teach children. We are continually improving our educational offer, our curriculum and our enrichment opportunities, this year looking at writing and also looking again at our behaviour policies in school to make sure that everyone is treated with respect and dignity.
