At Light Oaks Junior School, we aim to provide a learning environment in which children can engage in physical activity to build character and resilience, as well as embedding values such as respect and fairness.
We believe that every child should have the opportunity to develop the confidence and competence to enjoy physical activity, to develop their skills and interests and to be part of a wider community of active and competitive young people; leading to an active and healthy life.
The Greater Manchester Summer Games are only a few weeks away, taking place on the 5th July at various venues across Greater Manchester. The netball team have already qualified and will play in the tournament taking place at Wright Robinson Sports College.
Next Tuesday (27th June), our super successful swimmers will be taking part in the Salford Final Swimming gala looking to qualify for the Greater Manchester Games. Good Luck!
